The Borrower contacted TaliMar Financial because they were seeking a short-term private money bridge to purchase a single-family rental property. They had excellent credit and owned a portfolio of rental properties in the area. However, due to the location of the property and the need to close quickly, they made the decision to go hard money for the purchase.
The biggest hurdle on this transaction was that the Borrower had to close quickly and that the property was located in a secondary market. We considered the Borrower’s financial strength and experience in the vacation rental market and quickly approved the loan.
