5. SMS Text Messaging 

If an individual provides a mobile telephone number and affirmatively opts in, TaliMar Financial may send informational, transactional, servicing, account-related, and conversational SMS text messages. Messages may relate to inquiries, loan applications, loan servicing, investor relations, account updates, appointments, document requests, and other business communications. 

  • Message frequency varies. 
  • Message and data rates may apply. 
  • Reply STOP to opt out of future text messages from the applicable messaging program. 
  • Reply HELP for assistance. 
  • Consent to receive SMS text messages is not a condition of obtaining financing, making an investment, purchasing a product, or receiving any other service from TaliMar Financial. 
  • TaliMar Financial does not sell, rent, trade, or share mobile telephone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. 

Opt-out requests may take effect after processing. Individuals who opt out may still receive communications through other channels and may receive messages that are legally required or otherwise permitted by law. TaliMar Financial may retain records of SMS consent, opt-out requests, and related communications as reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, carrier requirements, contractual obligations, and recordkeeping practices. 

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies 

We may use cookies, web beacons, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, understand site usage, improve performance, and support security. Browser settings may permit individuals to block or delete certain cookies. Disabling cookies may affect the availability or operation of some features.

TaliMar Financial does not sell, rent, trade, or share mobile telephone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We do not state that all personal information is never disclosed, because disclosures may be necessary to provide requested services, complete transactions, comply with law, and operate our business. 

8. California Privacy Rights 

California residents may have privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, and other applicable California laws, subject to statutory definitions, thresholds, exceptions, and exemptions. Depending on applicability, these rights may include:

Individuals may opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe instructions in those messages or by contacting us. Individuals may opt out of SMS text messages by replying STOP. Even after an individual opts out of promotional communications, TaliMar Financial may send non-promotional, transactional, servicing, account-related, security, compliance, or legally required communications where permitted by law.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, provide Services, maintain business and transaction records, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect against fraud and security risks. Retention periods vary based on the nature of the information and applicable requirements.

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No security measure or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and TaliMar Financial does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Services. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take appropriate steps to address it. The Services are not intended to solicit SMS consent from minors.

The Services may contain links to websites, platforms, or services operated by third parties. TaliMar Financial is not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of those third parties. Individuals should review the privacy notices of third-party services before providing personal information.
